Simpson Thacher represented Avianca Group in connection with its offering of US$600 million principal amount of 9.500% Senior Secured Notes due 2031. Avianca used the proceeds of the notes to partially redeem its Senior Secured Notes due 2028 and for general corporate purposes. The offering of the notes was conducted pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act.
