Simpson Thacher Recognized as the Top-Ranked Legal Advisor for Infrastructure Fundraising in 2025
Simpson Thacher was recognized as the top-ranked U.S. legal advisor for infrastructure funds by Preqin in its latest league tables and was also recognized as the top-ranked legal advisor in IJGlobal’s infrastructure fundraising report for 2025.
With more than $195 billion in aggregate fund assets advised per the Preqin league tables, the Firm continues to be the market leader in representing the largest private equity sponsors in the industry, including all of the ten largest infrastructure sponsors as ranked by Infrastructure Investor’s Top 100. In the IJGlobal report, the Firm was noted for its role advising on EQT’s sixth flagship infrastructure fund, EQT Infrastructure VI, which closed at $24.96 billion and ranks among the largest infra funds ever raised. IJGlobal also highlighted Simpson Thacher’s work advising DigitalBridge on the final close of its latest fund, DigitalBridge Partners III, which closed at $11.7 billion and was the largest telecoms fund of the year.
