Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in Offering of $3.5 Billion of Senior Notes by Nomura

Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters, for which Nomura Securities International, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as representatives, in connection with the offering by Nomura Holdings, Inc. (“Nomura”) of $1 billion of 4.996% Senior Fixed Rate Notes due 2029, $700 million of 5.166% Senior Fixed Rate Notes due 2031, $1 billion of 5.545% Senior Fixed Rate Notes due 2036, $500 million of Senior Floating Rate Notes due 2029 and $300 million of Senior Floating Rate Notes due 2031. The offering was made pursuant to Nomura’s shelf registration statement on Form F-3 under the Securities Act.
