Simpson Thacher Attorneys Recognized Among Most Active Lawyers in Latin America by Latin Lawyer
Simpson Thacher attorneys received recognition as among the most active Latin American banking and credit international partners and associates in 2025 by deal volume, according to Latin Lawyer's "Deal Tracker" reports on the busiest lawyers and the biggest debt deals of the year. Partner Juan Francisco Méndez was recognized as one of the top three busiest international partners and senior associate Jomar Vargas was named among the top two busiest international associates. In addition, Latin Lawyer recently recognized Simpson Thacher as among the top three most active international law firms in Latin American debt capital markets in 2025 by deal volume. Partner Juan Francisco Méndez once again received the distinction as one of the busiest international partners in this sector in the region, having previously been recognized as the most active international law firm partner in Latin America in 2024.
