MDA Space Completes C$600 Million Senior Notes Offering
Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by RBC Capital Markets, BMO Capital Markets and Scotiabank, as U.S. counsel in connection with the private placement in Canada and Rule 144A/Regulation S offering by MDA Space Ltd. of C$600 million aggregate principal amount of 6.50% Senior Unsecured Notes due 2033. MDA Space intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to fund a portion of the purchase price for its acquisition of Blue Canyon Technologies LLC.
