Maura Whelan to Speak at ABA Tax Section Fall Meeting
Exempt Organizations Partner Maura Whelan will serve as a featured panelist at the American Bar Association (ABA) Fall Tax Meeting virtually on October 6th. Her panel, “Navigating and Managing Affiliated Entities: Structuring C3-C4 and C-3 For Profit Relationships,” will discuss various tax and legal aspects of C3-C4 and C-3 for profit affiliated entity relationships, including labor and employment considerations such as the recent Department of Labor rule covering joint relationships, as well as Form 990 reporting and disclosure considerations.
