Amanda Allexon Quoted in Law.com on the Proposed Changes to the FDIC Bank Merger Review Process
Partner Amanda Allexon was quoted in a Law.com article titled, “Proposed FDIC Merger Review Overhaul Is Welcome News for Banks, Attorneys Say,” which discussed the FDIC’s proposed overhaul of its bank merger review process. Amanda noted that the proposal signals a significant shift from the FDIC’s 2024 policy statement, calling the “change of tone very notable.” She went on to add, “Both the substance of what they are proposing and the explanations for it are taking a very different, much more transaction-supportive approach.”
