KSR v. Teleflex: A New Flexible Regime for Obviousness

This memorandum addresses the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in KSR Int'l Co. v. Teleflex Inc. There the Court rejected the longstanding "teaching, suggestion, or motivation" test developed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in favor of a more expansive and flexible approach to obviousness in patent infringement matters.
