Calheiros and Associate Siddharth Fresa authored an article titled, “Navigating The SEC’s Evolving Foreign Private Issuer Regime,” which was published by Law360. The article discussed recent roundtable discussions held by the SEC’s Investor Advisory Committee on the evolving role of foreign private issuers (“FPIs”) in the U.S. capital markets. It further outlined strategic considerations for FPIs seeking to maintain access to U.S. capital markets and noted that the SEC’s ongoing review has the potential to bring about significant changes to eligibility criteria, disclosure obligations and compliance requirements for FPIs.
