Based in the Firm’s London office, Oliver McBain is a Counsel in the Real Estate Finance Practice. Oliver’s practice covers a broad range of securitization transactions and he has represented clients in both public and private securitization and structured finance transactions. Oliver has handled transactions across numerous asset classes, including trade receivables financing, asset-backed borrowing base facilities, CLOs and CLO warehouses, commercial mortgage backed-securities and collateralized fund obligations.

Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Oliver spent two years at Citibank supporting the portfolio finance, CLO and warehouse lending desks. He has also completed a 12 month secondment with Goldman Sachs.
