- Representing EQT Infrastructure in connection with a carve-out, auction and sale of Parques Reunidos to Herschend Entertainment
- A large electric vehicle company in connection with obtaining a multi-billion dollar project financing for the development and construction of an electric vehicle factory in the United States
- A large national oil company in connection with its direct investment into MidOcean Energy, an LNG platform investment vehicle developed by EIG Partners, for the acquisition and development of LNG import/export terminals around the global
- The Carlyle Group’s energy and renewables funds in connection with a preferred equity investment in a platform investment focused on developing distributed solar projects throughout the United States

Andrew Maryan is Counsel in the Firm’s Energy and Infrastructure Practice. Based in the Washington, D.C. office, Andrew advises some of the world’s largest companies and private equity sponsors on a wide range of transactions including M&A, project finance and project development, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has significant experience in transactions involving the conventional power and renewables, oil and gas and transportation sectors.
Andrew has also spent time in-house as a secondee at Constellation Energy, in Constellation’s energy trading desk, and at The Carlyle Group, covering The Carlyle Group’s energy and infrastructure investments in the United States.
Andrew has additional experience drafting and negotiating project development documents, including power purchase, engineering procurement and construction, long-term supply, and operation and maintenance agreements.
