Rajib is the Global Head of Asset Management at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. He is the world’s leading outside counsel (as measured by number of funds and assets under management), pioneering expanded access to private markets for individual investors.
The Simpson Thacher Registered Funds team, which Rajib leads, has worked in concert with clients to design investment vehicles that have been publicly recognized as “revolutionary,” “category-killing” and “the fund innovation of the year.”
Rajib is a go-to counsel across each major private markets asset class, giving him a uniquely holistic view of the asset management industry. He has launched investment products for the following firms, among many others:
