Rob primarily advises companies on their compliance with U.S. securities laws, U.S. stock exchange listing requirements and general corporate governance matters. He also advises on new developments and changing best practices in governance matters.

His representative experience includes advising:

Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Rob was Counsel, Corporate Governance and Securities, SEC, at IBM, where he primarily focused on securities and corporate governance matters, including proxy statement and other Exchange Act reporting matters, corporate governance trends, support of the board of directors and its committees, support of key corporate functions and capital markets transactions. Prior to focusing his practice on public company matters, he had a broad capital markets practice where he represented both issuers and underwriters on a wide range of capital markets transactions, including various equity and debt offerings.

Prior to his legal career, Rob served in the military.

Rob received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Rutgers School of Law in 2014, his M.B.A., summa cum laude, from Touro University International in 2008, and his B.A. from SUNY at Albany in 2002. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
