Steven Lorch is a Partner in the Firm’s Tax Practice, advising a broad spectrum of market participants on the U.S. tax aspects of energy and infrastructure transactions, with a particular focus on renewable power, energy transition, conventional energy and data center and fiber assets. Based in New York, Steven regularly advises clients on complex tax equity structures, pre-tax preferred investments and tax credit transfers in connection with U.S. investment and production tax credits. He also advises project owners and developers on the U.S. tax aspects of renewable power and clean energy project development, including with respect to engineering, procurement and construction agreements, build transfer agreements, equipment supply agreements, and general eligibility for U.S. investment and production tax credits, including compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements and requirements for bonus credits.
