Tony Liu is a Partner of the Firm and a Transaction Manager in the Hong Kong office, and a member of the Asia Private Funds Practice. He focuses on advising private investment fund sponsors on fund formation and related matters across Asia and globally.
Tony represents leading international sponsors on the formation of private investment funds across a wide range of asset classes, including buyout, venture capital, real estate, credit and secondaries. His experience includes advising sponsors such as Affinity Equity Partners, Cinven, Coller Capital, CVC Capital Partners and EQT.
Tony joined the Firm in 2022 and has practiced in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. He received his law degree from the National University of Singapore, is admitted to practice in Singapore, and is a native Mandarin speaker.
Tony will be based in the Firm’s Singapore office upon its announced opening in 2026.
