Ben specializes in initial public offerings, acquisition financings and high yield debt offerings. He works with companies in many industries, with a focus on technology, healthcare and industrials.

  • Underwriters in various IPOs and equity offerings, including:
    • $489 million IPO of Paycor HCM, human capital management SaaS provider, and $442 million secondary offering
    • $465 million IPO of Duck Creek Technologies, insurance SaaS provider, and $802 million of follow-on offerings
    • $397 million IPO of Shift4 Payments, end-to-end payments technology provider, and $980 million of follow-on offerings
    • $120 million IPO of Bioventus, global medical device company
  • Gates Industrial Corporation in its $841 million IPO and $840 million of secondary offerings
  • Public companies and private equity sponsors in acquisition financing transactions, including:
    • Blackstone, Carlyle and Hellman & Friedman in $17 billion debt financing transactions for their majority investment in Medline, a leading manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies
    • KKR in $1.9 billion of offerings for its acquisition of Global Atlantic
    • Symantec in debt financing for its $2.3 billion acquisition of LifeLock
    • Aramark in $3 billion of debt financing transactions for its acquisitions of Avendra and AmeriPride Services
