Jacob Durkin focuses his practice on complex domestic and cross-border private credit, syndicated loan, structured finance, capital solution and special situations transactions, including leveraged, acquisition, fund-level and asset-backed financing. He advises direct lenders, private credit funds, investment banks, sponsors and other financial institutions across a broad range of sectors, products and capital structures, including unitranche and syndicated loan, second lien, holdco PIK and other junior debt instruments, public-to-private, ARR and preferred equity, mezzanine, convertible, warrants and other hybrid instruments.

He advises direct lenders, private credit funds, investment banks, sponsors and other financial institutions across a broad range of sectors, products and capital structures, including unitranche and syndicated loan, second lien, holdco PIK and other junior debt instruments, public-to-private, ARR and preferred equity, mezzanine, convertible, warrants and other hybrid instruments.

In 2021, Jacob spent a year on secondment with the Credit and Markets team in KKR’s London office.

Jacob received his LL.B from the College of Law – London, and his B.A. Hons. from the University of Leeds. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
