A Partner in the Firm’s London office, Shahpur K. Kabraji is a member of the Banking and Credit Practice. He focuses primarily on domestic and cross-border syndicated credit, acquisition finance and other leveraged finance transactions. Shahpur regularly serves as counsel to leading private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in acquisition financings, bank and bridge loan financings and refinancings, and other corporate finance transactions. His recent representations include advising KKR in financing relating to its €1.1 billion acquisition of Airbus Group’s Defense Electronics Unit, and Silver Lake, which is part of a consortium with AltaOne Capital LLP, in their financing for a tender offer to acquire the share capital of Cegid Group, a leading outsourcing business.

Shahpur K. Kabraji is Partner in the Firm’s Banking and Credit Practice. He focuses on domestic and cross-border syndicated credit, acquisition finance and other leveraged finance transactions. Shahpur recently contributed to the 2016 inaugural edition of “Getting the Deal Through: High-Yield Debt.” The publication provides advice and insight into the global high-yield market, with chapters covering a range of international jurisdictions. He co-authored the “United Kingdom” section.

Shahpur received his Postgraduate Diploma in Law Commendation from BPP Law School London in 2005 and his Diploma in Law from City University in London in 2004. He received his B.A., with Honours, from the University of Cambridge-Trinity College in 2003.
