At Simpson Thacher, we are intent on training exceptional students to become exceptional lawyers. We're thrilled to start meeting the future members of our summer class.
Application Timeline & Links
We will begin accepting applications on November 1st. We encourage interested students to apply as soon as their applications are ready. We expect to conduct interviews from November through March.
All applicants will be considered for the 2027 2L Summer Program. Applicants may choose to also be considered for the 2026 1L Summer Program.
Offer decisions will be made on a rolling basis after first semester law school transcripts have been received.

1L & 2L Summer Associates are paid at a rate of $225,000 per year on a semi-monthly basis while employed.
