Simpson Thacher Receives Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award
Simpson Thacher received a 2004 Pro Bono Publico Award for the outstanding service members from its Tax Department provided to the Society's Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Steve Todrys, Head of Simpson Thacher’s Tax Department, accepted the award on behalf of the Firm. The award was presented by Hon. Judith S. Kaye, Chief Judge of the State of New York. Corporate Associate Vanessa Bressler also received an award for the outstanding pro bono work she performed on a matter referred by the Society.
