Simpson Thacher Wins Asylum for Venezuelan Woman
Associate Tornike Bolkvadze, overseen by partner Olga Gutman, successfully represented a 31 year-old Venezuelan woman in her claim for asylum. The Asylum Office granted our client’s application based on her fear of facing violence in Venezuela due to her homosexuality. The matter was referred to the firm by Immigration Equality.
