Simpson Thacher Represents KKR in its Acquisition of South Staffordshire Plc
Simpson Thacher is representing funds advised by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. in connection with its acquisition of South Staffordshire Plc, a central England water supplier, from Alinda Capital Partners LLC. The transaction is expected to complete in July 2013, subject to regulatory approvals.
The group’s South Staffordshire and Cambridge Water divisions supply water to 1.6 million residents in the West Midlands and East Anglia.
