Simpson Thacher represented CoStar Group, Inc. (“CoStar”) in connection with its new senior secured credit facility, consisting of a $400 million term A loan facility and a $225 million revolving credit facility, to finance CoStar’s acquisition of Apartments.com from Classified Ventures, LLC.  The proceeds were used to finance the acquisition, refinance Costar’s existing credit facility and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

CoStar is the leading provider of commercial real estate information, analytics and marketplaces. CoStar conducts expansive, ongoing research to produce and maintain the largest and most comprehensive database of commercial real estate information.
