Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, in connection with the recent public offering by Verisk Analytics, Inc. of $200 million of 4.125% senior notes due 2029. The notes represent a further issuance of the company’s 4.125% senior notes due 2029 issued in an aggregate principal amount of $400 million on March 6, 2019.
Verisk is a leading data analytics provider serving customers in insurance, energy and specialized markets, and financial services. The company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to fund, in part, the acquisition of Genscape, Inc., a global provider of real-time data and intelligence for commodity and energy markets.
