John Terzaken Quoted in Bloomberg Law on ACPERA

John Terzaken, Global Co-Chair of the Firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice, was quoted in a Bloomberg Law article titled, “Companies That Disclose Antitrust Crimes Set to Lose Perks.” The article analyzed the Antitrust Criminal Penalty Enhancement & Reform Act (ACPERA), which expired on June 22 pending potential reauthorization by Congress. John noted that the statute provided “strategic benefits” that helped companies decide whether to self-disclose violations, and said, “a world without ACPERA puts leniency applicants at risk of death by a thousand cuts.”
