Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in Registered Offering of an Aggregate of $2 Billion of Senior Callable Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Notes by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters, for which Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and MUFG Securities Americas Inc. acted as representatives, in connection with the offering by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. of $500 million of 3.837% Senior Callable Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Notes due 2026, $800 million of 4.08% Senior Callable Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Notes due 2028 and $700 million of 4.315% Senior Callable Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Notes due 2033. The offering was made pursuant to MUFG’s shelf registration statement on Form F-3 under the Securities Act.
