Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters, for which Nomura Securities International, Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as representatives, in connection with the offering by Nomura Holdings, Inc. (“Nomura”) of $1 billion of 7.000% Fixed Rate Resetting Perpetual Subordinated Debt Securities. The offering was made pursuant to Nomura’s shelf registration statement on Form F-3 under the Securities Act.
