Partners Eli Hunt, Katherine Krause and Anthony Vernace have been named among Crain’s New York Business’ 2025 “Notable M&A Dealmakers,” a special feature recognizing the achievements of individuals at the forefront of dealmaking activity in New York.
The profile highlighted Eli’s role advising Stonepeak in several transactions, including its $3.1 billion take-private acquisition of ATSG and its partnership with Dupré Logistics, and for advising Morgan Stanley and BlackRock regarding their respective investments in Torch Clean Energy and Recurrent. Katherine was recognized for her role advising on Beacon Roofing Supply’s $11 billion acquisition by QXO and on Twitter’s $44 billion acquisition by Elon Musk, a matter for which Anthony was also recognized. Additionally, Anthony was highlighted for leading Microsoft in its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard and Cisco Systems in its $28 billion acquisition of Splunk.
