Lauren King Quoted in Mergermarket on Expanding Rollover to Continuation Vehicles
Lauren King, Co-Lead of Simpson Thacher’s Fund Transactions Practice, was quoted in a Mergermarket article, “Liquidity Need, Internal Bandwidth Make LPs Wary of Rolling into Continuation Vehicles.” The article looked at how GPs are working to increase LP adoption of rollovers as continuation vehicle use continues to increase. Lauren shared that lead investors do not want to be seen driving bad terms for existing investors, and favorable terms are a key priority in increasing rollover volume for these transactions.
