Banco Industrial Completes US$750 Million Debt Offering
The Firm represented Banco Industrial, S.A. in connection with an offering of US$750 million of 6.550% Subordinated Notes due 2036 issued by Walkers Fiduciary Limited, acting solely in its capacity as trustee of a Cayman Islands trust established by Banco Industrial. The Firm also represented Banco Industrial in connection with the underlying loan agreement between Banco Industrial and International Finance Corporation (IFC), pursuant to which Banco Industrial borrowed an aggregate of US$850 million in two tranches, and the purchase by the Cayman Islands trust of a 100% participation in one of the tranches.
Banco Industrial is the largest bank in Guatemala and the largest private bank in Central America, based on total assets as of September 30, 2025, providing a comprehensive range of commercial and retail banking and other financial services to more than 2.5 million customers.
