Alison Preiss, a Partner in the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice, and David Azarkh, a Capital Markets Partner and Co‑Head of the Firm’s Global Investment Banking Practice, will participate in The L Suite’s 2026 Tech GC Liquidity Summit, which will be held on February 4 in New York. The Summit’s theme, “Readiness in a Reset: Preparing for Liquidity in a Transforming Market,” will focus on navigating an increasingly complex dealmaking environment shaped by volatile markets, selective buyers, and evolving capital structures. Partners Jakob Rendtorff and Heidi Mayon will also participate in the Summit.
Alison will speak on the mainstage panel, “M&A Today: Where Strategy and Reality Meet.” The discussion will address shifting diligence expectations—particularly around AI, data rights, privacy, and regulatory scrutiny—and will offer practical guidance on managing counsel, preparing teams, and navigating board and investor dynamics throughout the transaction process.
David will co‑lead a roundtable titled “101 LEVEL: Dual-Track Strategies,” which will introduce the fundamentals of dual‑track approaches and will focus on how GCs and CLOs can guide their companies through simultaneous IPO and M&A processes. The session will cover the critical role of legal advisors in managing timing, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder expectations.
