The Firm represented JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and Banco Santander, S.A., as joint lead arrangers and bookrunners, in connection with a US$270 million bridge credit agreement made available to Intercorp Perú Ltd., as borrower, and guaranteed by its subsidiary NG Education Holdings Corp. The proceeds will be used mainly to (i) finance the acquisition of minority equity interests with respect to certain subsidiaries in the education sector and (ii) prepay certain outstanding indebtedness.
Intercorp is the holding company of a Peruvian leading multi-business conglomerate with investments in several sectors including banking, insurance, retail, supermarkets, pharmaceuticals, shopping malls, education and healthcare.
