Adam Aderton Quoted in Law360 on Proposed Amendments to Form PF
Partner Adam Aderton was quoted in a Law360 article titled, “SEC, CFTC Propose Rules to Relax Private Fund Reporting,” which discussed a joint proposal from federal regulators to amend Form PF. In commenting on the changes introduced in the rule proposal, Adam noted, “Beyond increasing thresholds, the proposal makes several changes that respond to advisers' pain points such as eliminating volatility and turnover reporting, simplifying the criteria for current event reporting for hedge funds, and eliminating the quarterly event reporting requirement all together for private equity funds.” He also went on to observe that, given the SEC and CFTC have been receptive to industry input, “advisers should look closely at this new proposal for any reporting requirements that could benefit from additional refinement.”
