KKR Sells Portfolio of Long-Stay Furnished Residential Properties in Japan
Simpson Thacher represented KKR and Weave in connection with their sale of a portfolio of 14 long-stay furnished residential properties across prime locations in Tokyo to a prominent Southeast Asian investor. The portfolio is majority owned by KKR alongside Weave Living and operates under the Weave Residences and Weave Place brands. The Firm also represented KKR on the establishment of its strategic partnership with Weave Living to invest in multi-family assets in Japan in 2024.
