Simpson Thacher Hosts Independent Directors Council’s Regional Roundtable in New York
Registered Funds Partners Neesa Patel Sood, Bissie Bonner and Jacqueline Edwards, along with Head of the Asset Management Regulatory and Enforcement Practice Michael J. Osnato Jr. and Asset Management Regulatory and Enforcement Partner Meaghan Kelly will participate in the Independent Directors Council’s New York Regional Roundtable, hosted by Simpson Thacher at its New York office on November 12.
The speakers will examine recent developments at the SEC, with a focus on those most relevant to registered funds and their boards. The discussion will cover the SEC’s regulatory initiatives, including rulemaking impacting the role of fund boards, as well as examination, enforcement and litigation trends.
