Lu Wang

Lu Wang is a Partner in the Firm’s Private Funds group. Her practice focuses on the formation and operation of investment funds, representing sponsors across a broad range of asset classes and industries. Lu has advised leading private equity sponsors, including Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, The Carlyle Group, Greyhound Capital Partners, Lexington Partners and Onex Partners.

Representative transactions on which Lu has worked include:

• Blackstone in multiple fundraisings, including in the establishment of the $30.4 billion Blackstone Real Estate Partners X, the $4.5 billion Blackstone Growth Fund, the $8 billion Blackstone Core Equity Partners II and Blackstone Capital Partners VIII
• The Carlyle Group in the establishment of Carlyle Asia Partners VI
• Lexington Partners in the establishment of its $14 billion Lexington Capital Partners IX and associated vehicles
• Onex Partners in the establishment of Onex Capital Solutions Fund and associated vehicles

Lu received her J.D. from Cornell Law School and her B.S. from the University of Maryland. She is admitted to practice in New York.
