Amanda Lutick is counsel in the Firm’s Private Funds Practice. Her practice focuses on the structuring and management of private funds, and related corporate and regulatory matters. Amanda regularly advises and represents clients in connection with the organization and operation of private funds pursuing a variety of strategies across a range of geographies, including private equity funds, hybrid funds, fund of funds, single investor funds, co-investment funds and continuation fund transactions. She also advises and represents sponsors with the formation and operation of management entities, as well as the negotiation of side letters and investment advisory agreements in various contexts (including for separately managed accounts).

  • Battery’s formation of its flagship fund, Battery Ventures XV, oversubscribed with total commitments of $3.25 billion.
  • StepStone Group LP on the formation of its StepStone VC Secondaries Fund VI, with total commitments of $3.33 billion, and StepStone VC Opportunities Fund VII, with total commitments of $1.28 billion.
  • New Enterprise Associates’ formation of New Enterprise Associates 18 and NEA 18 Venture Growth Equity, with total combined commitments of $6.2 billion, and NEA Secondary Opportunity Fund LP, with total commitments of over $468 million.
  • Valor in the formation of its co-managed Valor Atreides AI Fund, with total commitments of over $758 million.

Amanda received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School and her M.S. Finance from Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management in 2019. She also received her B.A. and B.B.A. from The College of William & Mary in 2016. Amanda is admitted to practice in New York.
