Kirsten Davis is Senior Counsel in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Kirsten represents issuers and underwriters in both public and private offerings of equity and debt securities and advises both U.S. and non-U.S. clients on general corporate and securities law matters. Recently, Kirsten was selected among the “Top 100 Women Lawyers” by Latinvex for her capital markets work in the Latin American region.

Kirsten Davis is Senior Counsel in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Kirsten represents issuers and underwriters in both public and private offerings of equity and debt securities and advises both U.S. and non-U.S. clients on general corporate and securities law matters. Recently, Kirsten was selected among the “Top 100 Women Lawyers” by Latinvex for her capital markets work in the Latin American region.

Kirsten regularly represents major investment banking firms, including Banc of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Santander Investment Securities, in equity and investment grade and high yield debt offerings by companies organized in Latin America and the Caribbean, such as América Móvil, Comisión Federal de Electricidad, Braskem, Coca-Cola FEMSA, FEMSA, First Citizens Bank, Grupo Petrotemex, Sigma Alimentos, Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile and Teléfonos de México. Kirsten also advises both U.S. and non-U.S. corporate clients, such as Aerodom, Best Buy, Cementos Pacasmayo, Energy Future Holdings, Microsoft, Cap Cana and Transportadora de Gas del Norte, in offerings of equity and debt securities and liability management transactions. Kirsten also represented Telefónica Móviles, Accenture, Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo--SABESP and ITC Holdings in their respective initial public offerings in the United States.

Kirsten graduated from Carleton College and New York University School of Law. Kirsten joined Simpson Thacher in 1998, and is a member of the New York bar. Kirsten is fluent in English and Spanish.
