Andrew Nichol is a Partner in the Firm’s Sponsor Transactions and Advisory Practice. Based in New York, he advises private equity sponsors, asset managers and institutional investors on the full spectrum of GP-stake transactions, including minority and control investments, preferred equity and other structured arrangements, strategic capital raises, seeding and anchor investor transactions, and product development and expansion. He represents both buy-side and sell-side participants, and also advises sponsors on the formation and launch of new asset management platforms and next-generation sponsor vehicles. Andrew also has experience representing leadership teams and founders in connection with upper-tier structuring matters including succession planning, the development of equity incentive and carry plans, partner departures and hires, and governance structuring.
