Jennifer Rouault is Counsel in the Firm’s Investment Funds practice. Based in Luxembourg, Jennifer advises on complex fund formation matters, including the structuring and registration of regulated funds and unregulated funds, as well as multi-tiered structures and co-investment structures.
Prior to rejoining Simpson Thacher, Jennifer worked at a magic circle firm in Luxembourg, where she assisted sponsors in establishing regulated and unregulated Luxembourg investment funds but also developed significant experience with onboarding institutional investors in private funds. From 2011 to 2018, Jennifer served as an Associate in Simpson Thacher’s Luxembourg office.

Jennifer received her Certificat d’Aptitude à la Profession d’Avocat from the Law Bar School in Rennes, France, in 2009. She received her Master of Law in International Business Law from the University of Lyon in 2007, graduating cum laude; her LL.M. from the University of Mainz in 2006, magna cum laude; and her Law Degree in Business Law from the University of Nantes in 2005, magna cum laude.
She is admitted as an Avocat à la cour in Luxembourg, admitted as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme, and qualified as an Avocat à la cour in France.
