  • HPS on the establishment of HPS Offshore Sustainability and Energy Transition Fund
  • Partners Group with respect to their multi-strategies fund platform focusing on private market investments
  • CapVest in connection with the establishment of its sixth flagship fund, CapVest Fund VI, surpassing its target with a final close of €4.5 billion in total commitments

Yannick is a member of the Firm’s Investment Funds Practice. Based in the Luxembourg office, he advises on complex fund formation matters for global sponsors, asset managers and financial institutions across Europe, and the U.S. covering closed-ended and evergreen offerings, including multi-strategy platforms, unregulated private funds and regulated private wealth products. Yannick’s practice focuses on the formation and operation of alternative investment funds across a range of asset classes, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and liquid financial products. Yannick also advises AIFMs on their ongoing legal and regulatory obligations.

With extensive experience across a broad range of sectors, he is recognised by Chambers as a leading lawyer in Investment Funds and was named a “Next Generation Partner” for investment funds by Legal 500.

Fluent in English, German, French and Luxembourgish, Yannick was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2008. He received a Master 2 in International Trade Law and a Master 1 in Business Law from the University of Montpellier.

Yannick is a member of a number of fund industry bodies including the Association of the Luxembourg Funds Industry (ALFI), the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA) where he co-chairs the AIFMD review working group.
