Stephanie Srulowitz

Stephanie Srulowitz is a Partner in Simpson Thacher’s Investment Funds Practice. Based in New York, she represents private investment fund sponsors in the formation, structuring and negotiation of their investment funds, as well as in secondaries transactions, carried interest arrangements, governance structuring and fundraising-related matters. In addition, she counsels private equity clients on co-investment structures and terms. Stephanie also has experience advising institutional investors in connection with their private fund investments, including private equity, real estate and other closed-end funds.

With over two decades of experience representing investment fund sponsors, she is widely recognized as a leading fund formation lawyer, with accolades across Chambers, Law360, The Legal 500, IFLR1000 and others.

• Lee Equity Partners in the closing of Lee Equity Partners Fund IV
• Crow Holdings, a leading national real estate investment and development firm, in the $3.1 billion closing of Crow Holdings Realty Partners X, L.P.
• Graycliff Partners LP in the closing of Graycliff Private Equity Partners V
• Lee Equity Partners in the closing of a $1.6 billion recapitalization of McLarens Global Limited, the largest pure-play provider of technical insurance claims services to the complex commercial insurance claims market
• Blue Owl Capital and Warburg Pincus in the closing of a $1.625 billion recapitalization of Big Brand Tire & Service, one of the largest and fastest-growing non-discretionary automotive service businesses in the country, by Percheron Capital
• Leonard Green & Partners in the closing of Ares Private Equity’s $850 million single-asset continuation vehicle for Convergint Technologies, a global leader in service-based systems integration

Stephanie received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2005 and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University in 2002. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
