Simpson Thacher Represents JPMorgan in Amendment of Credit Agreement of Roundy's Supermarkets
The Firm recently represented JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. as the administrative agent in the amendment and extension of the $875 million Credit Agreement for Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. which, among other things, extended the maturity of over $740 million in loans for up to three years. The amendment became effective on October 30, 2009.
Roundy's Supermarkets is one of the Midwest's oldest and largest grocers. The company owns and operates 154 retail grocery stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota under the Pick ‘n Save, Copps Food Center and Rainbow Foods banners. Roundy’s has annual revenues approaching $4 billion and employs nearly 19,000 employees throughout its entire network.
