Douglas Markel Moderates M&A Panel at Asialaw’s 8th Annual Asia-Pacific In-house Counsel Summit in Hong Kong
Corporate partner and head of Simpson Thacher’s Beijing office Douglas C. Markel will be speaking at Asialaw’s 8th Annual Asia-Pacific In-house Counsel Summit on March 16 and 17, 2011 at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong. The program will address a range of issues pertinent to the daily lives of corporate counsel in the region. On March 17, Mr. Markel will host a practice area workshop on the topic of Mergers and Acquisitions. The panel will cover current “stay awake” M&A issues for in-house counsel, due diligence developments, current issues in M&A financing, and updates on transaction drivers and key issues in China.
