TCAP Raises ¥81 Billion for the TCAP VI Series Funds

Simpson Thacher advised T Capital Partners Co., Ltd. (“TCAP”) in connection with the fundraising of the TCAP VI Series Funds which held its final close on January 22, 2021, surpassing its ¥70 billion target and closing at its hard cap of ¥80 billion within six months of launch. Having completed its spin-out from Tokio Marine, the TCAP VI Series Funds is the sixth mid-cap focused Japan buyout fund series served or managed by TCAP and their first with non-Japanese investors.
