Exempt Organizations Senior Counsel Maura Whelan participated in NYU’s 2024 Annual Conference on Legal Issues in Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing – in the US and Beyond on June 4. Maura spoke on a panel titled, “Using Nonprofits and Related Vehicles to Maximize Impact: Key Considerations,” which provided a foundational review of how a range of nonprofit and related vehicles can be used to maximize impact.
The Conference convenes students, lawyers, academics and other stakeholders from across the globe to explore salient legal, ethical and social themes affecting the fields of social entrepreneurship and impact investing.
