David Shevlin On Faculty at the Rocky Mountain Tax Seminar for Private Foundations
Head of the Exempt Organizations Practice, David Shevlin, was a member of the faculty at the 17
th Annual Rocky Mountain Tax Seminar for Private Foundations hosted by the El Pomar Foundation in Colorado Springs, Colorado from September 23
rd through September 25
th. David’s primary presentations were “Getting started with PRIs,” “Exams, Investigations, and other Oversight Mechanisms,” and “What do Foundations Need to Know about DAFs and Fiscal Sponsors?”
This was David’s second consecutive year as a faculty member at the seminar, which provides a preeminent forum for private foundation leaders to discuss the ever-changing tax laws governing private foundations and to learn about key developments and trends in the sector.
