Simpson Thacher represented certain Blackstone selling shareholders in connection with a secondary offering of shares of common stock of Loar Holdings Inc. (“Loar”). The offering of 10,350,000 shares of common stock of Loar, including pursuant to the exercise in full of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares of common stock, raised over $860 million in proceeds to all selling shareholders, before underwriting discounts and offering expenses.
Loar designs, manufactures and sells a variety of essential and niche components for aircraft, aerospace and defense systems. Its products are found in three key industry areas: commercial aerospace, business jet and general aviation, and defense.
