Justin Browder Quoted in Law360 on SEC’s Recent Withdrawal of 14 Rule Proposals

06.16.25

Partner Justin Browder was quoted in a Law360 article titled, “SEC Scrubs Biden-Era Agenda To Give Atkins A 'Clean Slate',” which discussed how the SEC, under newly appointed Chairman Paul Atkins, has withdrawn 14 rule proposals from the previous administration as the agency seeks to redefine its agenda. Justin explained, “It would stand to reason that the best way to kick off a more streamlined approach to regulation would be to start with a clean slate rather than making adjustments to proposals that were inconsistent with his overarching approach from the get-go.”
