Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $1.5 Billion of Senior Notes Offerings by Equinix

Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters in connection with the offering of $800 million aggregate principal amount of 4.700% Senior Notes due 2033 (the “2033 Notes”) by Equinix Europe 2 Financing Corporation LLC and $700 million aggregate principal amount of 4.400% Senior Notes due 2031 (together with the 2033 Notes, the “Notes”) by Equinix Asia Financing Corporation Pte. Ltd., each an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of Equinix, Inc. (the “Company”). The Notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by the Company on an unsecured basis.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering of the Notes to fund the acquisition of additional properties or businesses, fund development opportunities, and to provide for working capital and other general corporate purposes, including but not limited to refinancing upcoming maturities and for repayment of existing borrowings.
